I recently read an awesome review about Rimmel London‘s 16 hour kiss proof ‘Provocalips’ lip colour. I don’t own many Rimmel products (I tend to be more of a Maybelline girl), but this review was so fantastic, as a lipstick lover I decided I had to give it a go. So I bought three at once…. (thank you Priceline promos). This lipstick is amazing.
I did a Priceline haul a couple of months ago, and in my YouTube video I was wearing a smokey eye look by Maybelline (eye studio eyeshadow quad range). I remember people commenting after that video that they liked my makeup and would be interested in a tutorial- so here it finally is!
Today I was wandering around Kmart (Kmart stock a slightly different range to Priceline which means a few products that I don’t usually see tend to pop up here) and I came across this eyeshadow palette by Australis. As I already have the AConTour palette (of which I am a big fan) I figured for $9.75 it was definitely worth giving this newbie a try.
Ever since Urban Decay came to Mecca I have been dying to get my hands on their Naked eyeshadow palettes. Urban Decay offer a range of different eyeshadow palettes, ranging from $42 (for 6 matte eyeshadows) to $78 palettes which come in Naked, Naked 2, Naked 3 and Naked Smokey (this one is sadly not yet available for purchase at Mecca).
Good morning girls!
Today I uploaded a YouTube video on everyday contouring and highlighting. All the products I used are drugstore products (all available at Priceline) to help you achieve this natural contour look. The product colour shades I used are particularly suited to pale skin, however they can easily be substituted for darker shades if need be.
As someone who is typically more interested in applying and experimenting with eye makeup, it is great to have have some more neutral lip colours to easily pair with these different makeup looks.
Today I filmed a quick bronze smokey eye look. I often am asked how I achieve this look, and so I thought I would make a quick 1 minute video to show you the stages. Please enjoy 🙂
Hey ladies, check out my ‘fresh face’ makeup tutorial for a natural, soft, everyday look. It takes me 10 minutes to do this look at home. Enjoy!
In this video I review Nude by Nature Mineral Foundation, Maybelline Eye Shadow palettes, Maybelline Brow Drama and CoverGirl Eyebrow Pencil (you can see my other vidoe on Eyebrows for more info on these), AConTour countour kit by Australis, Color Drama lipsticks in shades Fab Organge, Light It Up and Nude Perfection by Maybelline.
I’ve been asked many times how I do my eyebrows, so finally I decided to sit down and do a YouTube eyebrow tutorial. In this video I am basically just walking you through my daily routine (which I can do in about 2 minutes, despite my 7 minute video tutorial)…
Anyway. The tools I used (as pictured above) are Maybelline Brow Drama in deep brown and Perfect Blend Covergirl Eyebrow Pencil in dark brown. As I mention in the video, if you are planning on doing your eyebrows in a shade darker than your natural eyebrow hairs, I recommend getting an eyebrow tint first so the pale eyebrow hairs can’t be spotted through the eyebrow pencil. I get mine done for $10 at a little place in Moonee Ponds and the tint tends to last me about a month before the hair fades back to my natural brown shade (definitely worth it- especially when you feel like going make-up free or can’t be bothered to do your eyebrows!)
I hope you enjoyed my video, if you have a YouTube account please subscribe! I will continue to upload my makeup reviews and tutorials. 🙂
